Application Criteria & Process
DRJ Sites are selected based on the following criteria:

Must be a US-based Secondary Schools, Higher Education Institutions, Municipal Courts, Juvenile Justice Agencies, Youth Diversion Programs, Community Based Programs, Recreation Centers, Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation facilities

Two or more organizations must be willing to participate from one rural, urban, or suburban area, serving the same youth populations across a region.

Serves 50-5,000 youth or young adults between the ages of 10-24

Provide quarterly testimonials and feedback.

Eager to embrace innovation and willingness to form collaborative relationships

Openness to participate in the change process of utilizing an alternative disciplinary tool.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Organizations chosen as DRJ Sites must participate within three months of approved funding.

Stage 1: Submit ApplicationPlease check that you meet the criteria mentioned above. If you do, then complete the application form.

Stage 2: Interview & ReviewA select group of applicants from Stage 1 will be invited to share more detailed information about themselves and will undergo a 45-minute virtual interview with Advising Generation Z and DRJ Founding Pioneers.

Stage 3: Award AcceptanceUp to 30 applicants from stage 2 will be sent an invitation to become DRJ Sites annually. They have seven business days to accept the invitation. If we have not received an acceptance, we will invite the next applicant.

Stage 4: Formalities & PreparationDRJ Sites will receive Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and a 12-step implementation roadmap. These resources will help them prepare their teams to participate in the initiative. DRJ will then be instructed to schedule onboarding training for their organizations. During the training, they will learn about the platform's capabilities and use the Discipline Reimaged Suggested Routes to choose the best implementation strategy for their organization.
